Its founder and Chief Executive Officer, Thomas M. Daly has over twenty-five years experience in claims and senior management positions with a number of insurance and reinsurance companies in the United States, as well as extensive involvement in the London Market and with Underwriter's at Lloyds.
Mr. Daly's international claims experience has taken him on assignment to countries in the Far East, Europe, Canada and Bermuda where he served on the Committee of Inspection for the Focus Insurance Company in Liquidation.
RECON is being designed as a full service consulting practice with significant background and expertise in a multiplicity of disciplines, able to meet the needs of its clients notwithstanding any jurisdictional or global constraints.
The Home Office is located in Newtown, CT which is only a short drive to either of the insurance or reinsurance hubs in Hartford and Stamford, CT. New York City and Westchester County are also easily accessible by railroad or automobile.
The Western Division is located in Woodland Hills, California and is managed by Workers Compensation Specialist, Leonard Taylor, who has extensive experience in the auditing and management of third party administrators.
The Midwest Division is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota and is managed by George C. Foulkes, a reinsurance claims specialist with over thirty-five years of multi-line claims management and auditing experience. Paul Bellone has also joined the firm and he possesses a wealth of experience having managed claims operations for multi-national companies. Mr. Bellone also has significant expertise in evaluating loss reserves on large books of business and portfolio transfers.
The Underwriting Audit Division will be managed by William R. Jackson, the former Chief Operations Officer of an off-shore reinsurance company who has over twenty-five years experience in underwriting specialty property & casualty, ocean marine and program business.
In the third quarter of 2004, we are planning to establish a Third Party Administration (TPA) division to capitalize on the numerous opportunities that we believe exist for a medium sized, well positioned, extremely qualified claims handling company experienced in commercial automobile, commercial property, general liability, and professional liability business. Ultimately, our goal is to have RECON become the consulting company of choice for the insurance and reinsurance community, by offering an array of comprehensive services unparalleled in the global marketplace.
